Our office is open to the public but has established the following guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for the staff and public we serve due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

  1. If you are experiencing fever or respiratory symptoms such as cough, sore throat or difficulty breathing or have been out of the country, please do not enter the building.
  2.  A mask is required to enter the building.
  3.  Signing in is required before entering the building.
  4.  It is important to maintain as much social distance as possible between you and another.
  5.  Use Hand sanitizer placed at entrance of building before entering.

Dimmit Appraisal District is responsible for appraising all real and business personal property within Dimmit County. The district appraises property according to the Texas Property Tax Code and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP).
