Covid-19

The Appraisal District will continue to keep safety a priority to ensure a safe working environment for the staff and public due to the Covid-19 health issues.

CDC has issued the following guidelines on COVID-19 and vaccinations.  If you have been fully vaccinated, which is 2 weeks after receiving your shot, you can resume activities without wearing a mask or having to social distance. CDC says that COVID-19 vaccines are effective in preventing severe illness, death and reduces the risk of spreading the disease.  However, it does say that they are still learning about how effective the vaccine is against some variants of the virus, how well weakened immune systems are protected and how long they can protect people.  It is still being emphasized to watch out for symptoms of COVID-19, especially if you have been around someone who is sick or if you have symptoms.

Mask wearing will be optional but recommended.

The Dimmit Central Appraisal District does continue to encourage Taxpayers and the public to communicate with us by telephone, postal service, email, fax, whenever possible.

A Drop Box is available outside the office for any documents that need to be dropped off.  The box will be checked, on a daily basis, Monday thru Friday.
